Location was excellent near the sea and shops. We had 2 rooms that provided sea views

Thought rooms looked shabby for the price and the place needs updating. The staff were very frindly and amenable but the rooms felt un clean and I suppose difficult to clean given all the up holstery. My brother and sister in law fromCanada were of the same opinion. We often stay at Hotel Seattle at the Marina at similar prices and this is much better standard.

Very, clean and quiet. Great location, just off the seafront. Bear in mind that if you are on the top floor there are seven flights of stairs to negotiate without a lift. Period decor with a slightly surreal Far Eastern twist. Fantastic full English for breakfast (included).

Really friendly staff. Loved the different styled room. Great facilities and amazing breakfast. If you want something other than the ordinary ikea type hotel, I'd really give this place ago.

The welcome was warm & natural. Room was lovely with a sea view, also nice and quiet. Great location. Close to everything but far enough not to be disturbed. Had a lovely breakfast the next morning. Glad I found somewhere in Brighton where I’d happily return & will that was reasonably price with the “chain hotel” feel.

We stayed at this hotel for my girlfriends birthday and we were put in a lovely room which we were very happy about but when we returned from a day out the manager said she would like to upgrade us seeing as it was her birthday and the room was absolutly stunning with a double bath jacuzzi and a 4 poster bed, the breakfast was lovely so would def recommend staying at this hotel and we will be returning this year! The staff were so polite and helpful and couldn't do enough for us! A fantastic hotel and really close to the beach and shops.

Well located just of the sea front. Front bedroom facing the square and sea nice view. Very well cooked breakfast.

Lots of stairs so need to be very abled bodied. No lounge area or bar to sit in so basically just a bedroom. Staff a bit disorganised at breakfast.

Lovely friendly, welcoming and accomodating staff. Clean and nicely presented room. Nicely decorated and luxurious. Delicious breakfast. Great location, stones throw from the beach, shopping and great restaurants.

The hotel was very conveniently located. Accomodation was to a high standard and the breakfast was plentiful. We would definately stay again.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were large and beautifully decorated, the owner was a lovely lady, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was cooked to order and very good, we were close to the sea and had sea view from our bay window which also looked over regency square, we were close to the main shops and resteraunts. We asked for more pillows and got them. We also had water jet bath which was lovely, it was very peaceful at night so slept well with no disruptions.

The only fault is the room was three flights up and had no lift. I have just got over knee injury and sprained ankle so the stairs were too much for me, mu husband was fine witht them. It was worth the climb as the room was really wonderful

The service and breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is very close to the sea, and an easy walk along the front to the main part of the town.

I know that hotel makes it very clear that there isn't a lift, but you need to be prepared for several flights of stairs.

Hotel was quirky and our room was well furnished.

Inflexibility on breakfast time. We asked for breakfast at 7.30 am but could not be accommodated so had to check out without taking the breakfast we had paid for!

This was a small hotel with a warm welcome and attention to detail. The hotel was in a great location with a side view of the sea, overlooking a garden square. If you get a balcony room, breakfast outside is an experience to opt for. The rooms are all decorated individually which makes the visit special.

The only downside is parking in Brighton, but if you can get a space there is an underground carpark, with overnight parking no problem.
