Beautiful rooms, jacuzzi and relaxation. Arrived and was a friendly welcome. Staff lovely, room was beautiful and my mrs loved it. Go for the more expensive Beijing room.....you wont be dissapointed. Lovely views and well located as underground parking right next door. Would highly recommend hotel and the cleanest room i've ever stayed in with a jacuzzi bath. Will be staying again very soon.
well i only stayed for 1 nite so it was just the fact the hotel was in a great location - not far from local car park and shopping centre - it is a themed hotel - we stayed in the Tudor Suite which was quite cosy -and the lady on reception was helpfull and very nice :) x god bless
Interesting rooms close to the centre of Brighton
Noise from other rooms - floorboards creaking etc.
Our room was on the 3rd floor 6 flights of narrow stairs,no lifts.very very tiring, I had great dififculty getting to our room .Room too hot, opening windows not an option due to location being very noisy [traffic and local club}
Room decor was lovely, nice and warm and very clean, very good continental breakfast.
I liked the luxurious Lianna room and the warm welcome from Ione the hotel manager.
Vivid decoration, nice comfortable room with fantastic sea view, helpful friendly staff, hotel with character, not bland identical rooms!
Lots of stairs. If you struggle with a lot of stairs make sure you get a room on low floor.
The individually decorated rooms which make it feel like you are being transported to a different world and the Manageress is a star!
Four flights of stairs to get to room but kept us fit!
Beautiful regency terrace well located in lovely square. Our very large bedroom was at the front of the hotel with a bay window and sideways view of the sea. we had the Beijing Pavilion - stunning in red scumbled paint with dragon murals, 4 poster bed and appropriate Chinese style furnishings plus a huge bathroom with large corner whirlpool bath and separate shower.
Unfortunately the mattress was old and tired - leading to a most uncomfortable night. Great shame as the room was otherwise delightful. No lift so beware the top floor rooms - bit of a flog. If they renew the beds then would highly recommend. Until then - no.
Decor was unusual in a good way staff were excellent
To have own access to the hotel would be good
Staff were really friendly and happy to help
The room cost £95 the bathroom was a bit old with not even a shower unit. Hotel advertises themed rooms rooms i.e. beijing dragon. however having paid the extra for one of these superior rooms it seemed to me it was pretty bog standard. Also you couldn't open the safe to put anything in. One couple who were staying had a fence outsde their window. What makes this all the worse was that there didn't seem to be anyone else staying there so surely the best rooms should have been provided.
different room designs, position of hotel near to our meeting venue, & convenient walking distance to shops, beach etc
Only continental breakfast offered, due to change in management. Lack of sufficient coat hangers in wardrobe; lack of hooks on walls to hang coats; lack of hook to put showerhead into over bath.
Opulent room. (Begin e) Adequate breakfast. Large clean bathroom with temperamental jacuzzi. Great view and location. Crisp clean linen. If you are a Faulty Towers fan, this is the place for you. Arrive with a sense of humor.
General customer service needs improving.
The hotel was well located and imaginatively decorated and furnished. The staff were friendly and efficient. Car parking was convenient.
There were a number of items that were not well maintained: a window blind, the toilet seat and the wardrobe key. The view from the window had been screened but the screen was broken. Given the price, these matters should have been attended to.
We arrived to find that they could no longer offer the double delux room we had booked. They made no attempt to tell us this on the phone when they rang 1 hour before we arrived to check on our arrival time. Upon arrival the room they offered was a poor, cramped double, and as we were unhappy with the alternative, and this was a special occasion, we were not prepared to take the room. Even though they breached their contact with us regarding the room we had booked, they saw it as we were cancelling our reservation and charged £100 to our card. We will be taking all steps to recover this charge, as they cancelled our room, and offered us a poor unacceptable alternaive. They were unhelpful, rude and acted in our eyes dishonestly
